What Our Clients Say:

“I am a Nicole Chase fan.  You may wonder why?  You have perhaps heard of the proverb “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. “  In many ways, Nicole has taught me how to fish.  Perhaps not literally, but figuratively.  I chose to have bariatric surgery in April 2011.  As part of the pre-op requirement, I was to see a dietician/nutritionist for 90 days.  My first thought was, “okay, whatever”.  But little did I know the secret gem awaiting me.  The surgery in effect provided me a “fish” for a several weeks to help facilitate my weight loss.  But Nicole gave me the education that was lacking that allowed me to not only sustain my weight loss, but move beyond surgical impacts to a healthier lifestyle.  Nicole’s style is welcoming and reassuring.  I have learned not to fear the “food police” mentality from Nicole when I consult her.  She is not judgmental and understands the journey is hard.  She has had to teach me the same lesson over and over, but seems not to be frustrated with the repetition.  She is a kind mentor that wants you to understand and question the impact of everything you eat.   No, she doesn’t want you to be a slave to food, but an educated consumer of it.   She continues to be supportive long after the surgery and I can rest assured that she is but a phone call or email away.  Yet again, she has taught me “how to fish” and to do so successfully.  As I stated before, I am a Nicole Chase fan.”

“[The dietitian's] expert advise to our group was enlightening!  The information presented helped us understand our protein, carbohydrate, and fat balance to meet our weight-loss goals. She taught us that it’s okay to ask for substitutions or special requests.” – Valerie Belloma, Region Leader, Cinemark USA, Inc.
